Assoc Prof Dr. Yuchuan Fu, Xidian University, She is from China, She won the Best Researcher Award. Award in the event of International Research Award for Excellence in Network Protocols, Technology and Communication by ScienceFather.

She received the Ph.D. degree from the School of Telecommunications Engineering, Xidian University, Xi'an, China, in 2020. She is currently an associate professor with State Key Lab. of ISN, School of Telecommunication Engineering, Xidian University, Shaanxi, China.

From 2018 to 2019, she was a joint Ph.D. Student with Carleton University, Ottawa, ON, Canada. Her current research interests include AI for Internet of Vehicles, Internet of Things, Intelligent Transportation Systems. She has published 47 papers in IEEE TITS, TVT, IEEE WCM, lEEE Globecom, ICC and other conferences, which was selected into 2 ESI highly cited papers and 1 hot paper.

         Virtual Private Network (VPN) adoption jumped manifold in India in the first half of 2021 as companies moved to secure communication networks as more employees worked from home. The number of VPN installations soared to 348.7 million as at June-end 2021 against 45.24 million as at December-end 2020, according to Atlas VPN’s Global VPN Adoption Index. VPN installation penetration went up from only 3.28 per cent population in 2020 to 25.27 per cent in the first six months of 2021. The VPN download data was extracted from Google Play Store and Apple App Store using Sensor Tower service and includes the 45 biggest VPN providers globally. Though Qatar, the UAE and Singapore held the first three positions, respectively, in terms of overall penetration, India surpassed all the countries on the list by the volume of downloads.
